In honor of National Renewable Energy Day, we’re proud to highlight how FTI is helping shape a cleaner, more sustainable future through innovation and action.
At FTI, sustainability isn’t just something we talk about – it’s embedded in how we work and power our operations.
One of the most exciting examples of this commitment is the rooftop solar array at our new Excellerate® manufacturing facility in Little Chute, Wisconsin. With nearly 10,500 solar panels, this system generates 4.825 GWh – or 4.8 million KWh – of clean energy annually, enough to help offset the facility’s energy use and, at times, contribute excess power back to the grid.
But this project is about more than solar panels. It reflects FTI’s larger vision for integrating renewable energy, industrialized construction and off-site manufacturing to create smarter, more efficient solutions for our customers and communities – all while reducing environmental impact.
Safety remains at the core of everything we do. During this project, while crews worked on the rooftop installation, teams inside the facility simultaneously assembled prefabricated skids – all carefully coordinated to ensure safety and efficiency.
