As of November, Little Chute is home to the newest of five U.S. manufacturing facilities for Excellerate, a maker of electrical components and assemblies for sustainable engineering projects. The company, which is a division of Menasha-based Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI), opened the 385,000-square-foot Little Chute facility as a “smart” manufacturing operation, utilizing clean energy technologies as it works toward its net zero goal.

The continued rising costs of energy, coupled with a worldwide focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts, has many organizations considering multiple energy goals, such as the following: Greenhouse gas emission (GHG) reductions and plans for renewable energy resources, energy conservation and ISO 50001 energy management certification and electric vehicle (EV) charger installation to support vehicle fleets or personal vehicles.

Will Stewart is one part of a larger team building modular electrical buildings inside a new facility in Little Chute. His team specializes in integrating the grounding on modular transformer buildings. “We’ll be pulling wires on the various trays that are on there and grounding the equipment to the skid steel,” Stewart said.
