Menasha, Wis. (Jan. 24, 2023) – Faith Technologies, an energy expert and national leader in electrical planning, engineering, design and installation, received a gold-level 2022 Projects of Distinction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin for its work at Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Faith Technologies replaced four aging emergency power generators as part of the Children’s Milwaukee Campus Improvement Project (MCIP), providing improved power generation at a new, centralized generator plant near the hospital but away from patient care areas. The project also supports power requirements for future campus expansion.

Faith Technologies also found a buyer for two of the old generators which were removed from the hospital. By coordinating the transaction, the units were able to be repurposed and kept out of the landfill while providing monetary value to Children’s Wisconsin.Children’s Wisconsin Emergency Generator Plant

“Projects of Distinction demonstrate the excellence in construction services by ABC of Wisconsin members,” said John Mielke, president of ABC of Wisconsin. “These unique projects are evaluated by a panel of experts in the field, including architects, engineers and educators in the construction industry, and allow Wisconsin’s merit contractors to demonstrate their professionalism, craftsmanship and safety.

“Children’s Wisconsin is a long-standing customer of Faith Technologies, and we’re thankful for the trust they put in us,” said Mike Jansen, CEO of Faith Technologies Incorporated. “Our healthcare experience and our team members’ in-depth knowledge of the hospital campus have allowed us to create a truly innovative solution for their energy needs today and far into the future.”
